WARM WATER EXERCISE – Linda Stark, Instructor

This class is specifically for people experiencing “twinges in the hinges” or painful physical

ailments.

Designed exercises help participants improve their joint range of movement. When

performed in warm water, movement often helps relieve pain and stiffness. This will be a fun,

friendly and warm atmosphere class (water temp is approximately 88-90 degrees). Class time

4:15-5:00 p.m.

DEEP WATER DYNAMICS – Linda Stark, Instructor (Main Pool)

With the help of flotation devices, this no-impact workout builds core strength and cardiovascular

abilities. Class also includes stretching and relaxation techniques. Need not be a swimmer

to participate. This class is held at 5:15-6:00 p.m.

 

AQUATIC PERSONAL TRAINING - Cheryl Jackson, CPT exercise specialist

Customized water-based exercise programs with total attention to the individual’s exercise form,

special health needs and specific goals. An ideal investment for an individual: to improve swim

strokes, to create an effective aquatic program and to train sport-specific during the off-season.

Exercise components for cardiovascular health, strength, flexibility and balance attained through

education and accurate use of various aquatic equipment. Cost is $40 per hour session. An initial

health history and questionnaire must be completed prior to the first session. For further

POST THERAPY

If you are on the road to recovery and have been released from doctor prescribed therapy

 sessions, consider continuing your recovery here (with us). Our warm water exercise pool is just

“what the doctor ordered”. There are times reserved for adults who need to thoughtfully and

carefully continue their recovery. Consider checking out our scheduled classes or come in for

independent exercise.

programs that take place in the water are total body workouts that are easy on the joints and

helpful to people with arthritis. Join us and begin your total body tune-up. This class meets in

the exercise pool (88-90 degree temperature). Class is held at 4:15-5:00 p.m.

We have all heard the term – “use it or lose it” – we know it is true! Now is your chance to do

something about it. This class focuses on flexibility and strengthening your whole body to

make everyday living easier and more comfortable. The natural buoyancy of water makes this

exercise class so much easier than one on land! The water temperature is 88-90 degrees.

Class time 9:00-9:45 a.m.

 

WARM WATER ARTHRITIS WORKOUT - Angie Walker, Instructor

This gentle exercise class will help you build and improve flexibility, mobility and strength.

ANGIE’S DEEP WATER DYNAMICS – Angie Walker, Instructor

Have you wanted to start exercising again, or have you wanted to try cross-training? Here’s

the class for you! This class will be taught entirely in the deep end. Angie will use a variety of

equipment and progressive movements to target all of the major muscle groups in your body.

This will be an invigorating class that you will love. It is not necessary that you know how to

swim since you may wear a buoyancy belt for support. Class time 11:00-11:45 a.m.

 

SHALLOW WATER WORKOUT – Angie Walker, Instructor

A fun way to focus on training core strength, cardiovascular endurance and stretching. This

class allows you to work at your own pace and speed. All ages and abilities are welcome.

Class time 6:00-6:45 p.m.

 

STEP – MIX IT UP– WATER AEROBICS – Angie Walker, Instructor

Have you ever tried a land step aerobics class, but thought it was just too hard? Then come try

this class out! In this class, we will work both our upper and lower body, using steps and other

equipment. This class will be a great way to improve core strength, balance and coordination.

All ages and abilities welcome. Class time: 7:00-7:45 p.m.
