SPRINGBOARD DIVING CLASS

Beginning Diving Class
- Prerequisite: Must be qualified to swim in the deep end per pool
rules. Ages 7-10. Diving instruction is individualized according to each
student’s skill level. Beginners learn the basic components of diving,
approach, hurdle, & take-off. Also students work on jumps and front
dives form the one meter board.
Cost: $70.00
Time & Days: Mon. & Wed. 6:30 p.m. - 7:15 pm
SUMMER 1: June 9, 11, 16, 18, 23, 25
SUMMEER 2: July 7, 9, 14, 16, 21, 23
Advanced Diving Class
- Prerequisite: Must be qualified to use the one meter board. Ages
11-adult. Diving instruction based on current skill level. Students will
learn the proper components of diving, approach, hurdle, & take-off.
Also students work on optional dives from the five competitive
categories: forward, back, reverse, inward and twist. All from the one
meter board.
Cost $70.00
Time & Days: Mon. & Wed. 7:15 p.m. - 8:30 pm
